Living God's Word & Sharing God's Love

Coming to Visit?

Are you thinking of coming to Faith United Methodist Church? We realize that visiting a new church may be intimidating. Don't worry! We're confident you'll find us a friendly church and we'd be more than happy to see you soon. We pray the answers to the following questions are helpful.

When should I visit?

We worship together every Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Should I dress up?

We certainly have no dress code in worship. Some folks “dress up” by wearing suits, ties, dresses, etc. Some folks wear casual clothing. What you wear is entirely up to you.

Where do my children go

Children and teens typically join us at the start of worship. After the weekly children’s time, they are invited to attend the nursery, children's Sunday School, or youth Sunday School. If they prefer to remain in the service, they are welcome to do so.

What should I expect in worship

Our weekly worship service can be best described an informal traditional. We combine tradition elements of worship with a friendly atmosphere and modern technology. For example, we use screens to enhance the service and sermon and provide projection of liturgy and hymn lyrics.

Am I expected to put money in the offering plate?

During the worship service, we have an offering that allows people to give back to God and to support the work of the church and its missions. If you want to put something in the offering plate, feel free, but please feel just as free to let the plate pass on by.
